Welcome to our website

Greetings and welcome to our one and only, first time ever, All Saints Episcopal Church Pleasanton, TX website! Of course, we could have chosen a much more dramatic time for us to spread our internet wings. We could have kicked this off at the beginning of Advent (which is the beginning of our Christian year), or Christmas or Epiphany, or the beginning of Lent or Holy week, or Easter, or Pentecost or even Trinity Sunday. But the better choice was to wait until the beginning of… pretty much absolutely nothing! Because, here we are, standing on the precipice of Ordinary Time, which is (of course), Green Season. I don’t mean to sound dismissive of the liturgical importance of Ordinary Time. All time is God’s time for which we are eternally grateful. But, this time is the best time to launch such an endeavor because, there’s nothing to compete with it! We’ll work out any unforeseen bugs over the summer and, by the time that Advent is upon us this site should be a model of Christianity on the web and we’ll be more than ready to embrace the new Christian year. In the meantime, please stay for a moment, peruse our pages and learn a bit about us. We’re turning 130 years old on September 10th and I cannot imagine that we’d let that milestone go by without some sort of… an “observation” so you may want to check in from time to time just to see what’s happening there or, better yet: come and visit us! Our Sunday service is at 10:30 a.m. and we’d love to meet you! Also, please know that we welcome not only Human Beings but well behaved and friendly non humans as well.

Please send us any suggestions you may have on how to improve this website. We’d love good constructive input.

God’s blessings and Peace!
